The Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFCA) has appointed Yousef Al-Jaida as chief strategic development officer. In his new role he will take responsibility for the overall strategic development of the QFCA. Mr. Al-Jaida joined the organisation in August 2010 as director, strategic development – asset management and banking.

Deutsche Bank’s global transaction banking division has appointed David West as regional head of trust and agency services (TAS) in Asia Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, he will report to Mrugank Paranjape, regional head of trust and securities services and cash management for financial institutions – Asia Pacific. Mr. West replaces Sally Gilding who has been appointed global head of corporate services.
