EPF adapts to changing socio-economic conditions

Malaysia’s Employees Provident Fund (EPF), with US$171.2 billion in AUM, will raise the basic saving level for pension scheme members by 196,800 ringgit from the current target level of 120,000 ringgit, effective January 1, 2014. The set amount will allow the fund to increase monthly payouts to 820 ringgit from 500 ringgit annually for 20 years, or up to the age 75...
