Aviva Investors has appointed Lim Beng Eu as head of business development for Asia Pacific. In this newly created role, he will lead the continued development of the financial institution and institutional sales channels of the company, reporting to Pat O’Brien, chief executive of Americas and Asia Pacific.
“Beng Eu’s established track record of more than 15 years in servicing institutions and developing bespoke client solutions in Asia Pacific will be instrumental for Aviva Investors’ expanding foothold in the region,” commented Mr. O’Brien.
Mr. Lim joined Aviva Investors in 2011 and has been successfully leading the institutional business development team since that time.
Mr. Lim remarked: “Asia Pacific remains a growth region for Aviva Investors as we continue to see significant opportunities in the market. Our plan remains focused on our core strengths of fixed income, real estate, regional equities and multi-asset strategies, with the main objective of raising assets from the region.”
He adds: “I believe my hands-on approach and background in building businesses in Asia Pacific, working together with a strong dedicated team, will help propel Aviva Investors to further success in the region.”
