BI-SAM brings in chief marketing officer

BI-SAM, a provider of data management, performance, attribution, risk, GIPS and reporting solutions for the asset management industry, has appointed Elizabeth Durkee as chief marketing officer.
Ms. Durkee, who has over 20 years’ experience as a strategic marketing leader in financial services, will lead BI-SAM’s global marketing functions including a customer-focused marketing strategy, brand development, and communications efforts. She will focus on generating and leveraging customer insights, building brand awareness in new markets, and implementing a systematic and strategic global marketing organisation within BI-SAM.
Ms. Durkee joins BI-SAM from SunGard Financial Systems, where she served as vice president and global head of marketing for SunGard’s asset management business. Previous roles include senior management positions at well-known companies such as Eagle Investment Systems, a part of BNY Mellon, Bear Stearns and Smith Barney. In these roles, she has maximised global marketing, sales, and business development efforts to achieve success.

Ms. Durkee will be based in BI-SAM’s Boston office.
