Sophie Dupré to head up Barings’ organisational risk team

Baring Asset Management (Barings) has appointed Sophie Dupré as head of organisational risk, based in London and effective immediately. In this new senior role, she will report to Chris Biggins, head of organisational risk and compliance.
Ms. Dupré joins Barings from Schroders where she was the head of investment risk framework for over three years, having previously held the role of operational risk manager. Prior to this she held various roles in risk control at Citigroup, Banque Nationale de Paris and Société Générale.
“We are very pleased to welcome Sophie to Barings. She has extensive experience of managing risk in complex environments and will bring considerable insight and knowledge to our risk management team,” says Mr. Biggins.
