Collin Lau, European private equity investment department director at China Investment Corporation (CIC), has decided to relinquish his position, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Mr. Lau joined CIC in February 2009 to serve as director of property. He was then transferred to the European private equity investment department in December 2011.
Mr. Lau is the latest employee to leave the sovereign wealth fund following a slew of recent departures, which includes real estate head Patrick Wu and real estate group director Jinglei Chen.
Separately, CIC appointed Liang Xiang as executive vice president in early March. Ms. Liang previously held various senior positions at the Export-Import Bank of China.
