EY hires forensic technology expert

EY, a provider of assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services, has named Eric Young as a partner in its fraud investigation and dispute services (FIDS) practice. Based in Hong Kong, he will lead the specialist FIDS offering in Greater China and will concentrate on end-to-end eDiscovery and proactive forensic data solutions leveraging predicted modelling techniques to identify potential fraud patterns, data relationships and discover new risk indicators.

Mr. Young was previously employed in the US, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong at a credit management service company, as well as at an investment bank. He has 19 years of data analytics consulting and operations management experience including system product design, development and deployment. Mr. Young also brings sector experience across financial services and investment banking, credit management, logistics, retail and automotive.
