Vervoorn assumes MD role at HFT HK

HFT Investment Management Hong Kong Ltd (HTF HK) has appointed Jelle Vervoorn as managing director.

Mr. Vervoorn joined HFT HK as executive director in August 2011 and has overseen the firm’s day-to-day operations ever since, the firm told Asia Asset Management. He has over 15 years experience in the investment management industry.

Meanwhile, Chi Lo, the firm’s CEO, is leaving the firm to pursue other opportunities. He is already on garden leave and will officially exit the company on October 31. Mr. Lo joined HFT in 2010 to set up the Hong Kong operation.
