New CEO for HSBC Global AM Singapore

HSBC Global Asset Management has appointed Kalen Lim as chief executive officer for HSBC Global Asset Management in Singapore, with effect from July 1.
She joined HSBC in 2005 and is currently head of business finance for HSBC Singapore where she oversees full analytic support for the bank covering corporate bank, small and medium enterprises, retail bank, global markets, and custody and clearing. Previously, Ms. Lim was responsible for business banking strategy and products for commercial banking.
Joanna Munro, chief executive officer for Asia Pacific, HSBC Global Asset Management, said: “Kalen’s addition to the management team is good news for the development of our asset management business in Singapore. Her experience and understanding of the local market will help us to continue delivering the best for our clients’ wealth needs and to become the leading asset manager for HSBC’s clients."
Ms. Lim will report jointly to Ms. Munro and Paul Arrowsmith, head of retail banking and wealth management, HSBC Singapore.
