Raphael Jaggy has been appointed as business manager for Asia at M&G Investments to develop its Asia Pacific platform serving institutional and private banking clients.
Based in Singapore, Mr. Jaggy is responsible for M&G Asia’s day-to-day operations, overseeing legal, compliance and financial functions.
Raphael joined M&G at the end of last year when M&G established offices in Singapore and Hong Kong to serve the firm’s growing number of institutional and private banking clients in the region. He reports to Andrew Hendry, Managing Director, M&G Asia.
Raphael has 15 years of experience in asset management business operations, most recently managing finance operations for Capital Group Companies in Singapore, India, Hong Kong and Australia.
Andrew Hendry says: “As M&G has grown in Europe and our distribution network has expanded in Asia, this has become an increasingly important market for us. Raphael’s appointment shows our commitment to delivering the highest levels of service to our institutional and private banking clients in the region.”
M&G has been managing money on behalf of individual and institutional investors for more than 80 years. Today it has £216 billion (US$342.3 billion) in assets under management, across the principal asset classes of equities, fixed income and real estate.
