AAM & MPF Ratings announce inaugural MPF Awards’ winners and finalists

The results for The MPF Awards 2013 are in!
In mid-2012, a landmark collaboration took place between Asia Asset Management and MPF Ratings Ltd in order to facilitate the inaugural MPF awards in recognition of excellence amongst investment managers and service providers in Hong Kong. The MPF Awards 2013 will culminate in a dinner and awards presentation ceremony to be held in Hong Kong’s Island Shangri-La Hotel on April 10, 2013 – the victors will also be selectively profiled in a special MPF Insights supplement, which will complement the May edition of Asia Asset Management.

“The spectrum of categories helped us attract a very diverse pool of candidates,” says Asia Asset Management Publisher Tan Lee Hock. “The panel of judges endured a gruelling selection process and said the quality of submissions in a number of major categories had made their jobs extremely challenging.”
The MPF Awards aim to recognise the progress that the MPF has made since its launch in 2000. In particular, since the introduction of the Employee Choice Arrangement (ECA) last November, which pushed MPF schemes into a new era and raised the bar for scheme managers and service providers.
“The launch of the ECA was really the catalyst for MPF Ratings to launch our “value for money” focused service in Hong Kong and we are extremely pleased to work with Asia Asset Management on the MPF Awards,” says Francis Chung, the chief executive officer of MPF Ratings Ltd.
