Asia Asset Management (AAM) and MPF Ratings Ltd are now accepting submissions for the inaugural MPF awards for investment managers and service providers in Hong Kong.

Please click HERE to download submission forms, award guidelines and descriptions for The MPF Awards’ categories and criteria. Deadline for submissions is Monday, March 4.

Winners will be announced on our website – www.asiaasset.com – in mid-March 2013 and selectively profiled in the May 2013 pullout Awards section of our monthly AAM magazine. All nominees and finalists will be invited to attend an awards presentation dinner on April 10, 2013 at the Island Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong. More details will be provided in early-March.

‘The MPF Awards’ will recognise the progress that the MPF has made since its launch in 2000. With the introduction of the Employee Choice Arrangement (ECA) last November, MPF schemes have now moved into a new era, raising the bar for scheme managers and service providers.

“The launch of the ECA was really the catalyst for MPF Ratings to launch our ‘value for money’ focused service in Hong Kong and we are extremely pleased to work with Asia Asset Management on the MPF Awards,” says Francis Chung, the chief executive officer of MPF Ratings Ltd. MPF Ratings is a subsidiary of Australia’s highly respected retirement savings research company, SuperRatings.

There will also be a number of performance awards plus seven category awards culminating in the announcement of the MPF Scheme of the Year for 2012. The methodology for the selection of these awards will be based both on MPF Ratings Ltd’s quantitative and qualitative data. The finalists will be announced in early March to coincide with MPF Ratings’ inaugural release of its MPF scheme ratings.

Interested parties can now submit their entry (or entries) to awards@asiaasset.com. Questions and clarifications can also be sent to the same address or entrants can call David Macfarlane ((852) 2547 7331) or Francis Chung ((852) 2588 3409).
