Charles Wang joins Bosera Asset Management to oversee key ETF offerings

Former E Fund Management (HK) chief executive officer Charles Wang has joined Bosera Asset Management as fund manager for both the Bosera S&P 500 Index Fund and the Bosera Yufu CSI 300 Index Fund, Bosera announced in a statement on January 12.
Mr. Wang headed E Fund’s Hong Kong subsidiary from 2010 to 2012. Before that, he held various positions including fund manager and senior vice president in Boston-headquartered Acadian Asset Management between 2000 and 2010.
E Fund has undergone frequent personnel changes recently. The firm announced on January 8 that fund veteran Liu Zhen resigned from the position of managing director in the index and quantitative investment department. His position was taken over by Luo Shan, former deputy general manager of asset management division of Essence Securities.
