Amundi appoints Terence Khoo director of investment

Terence Khoo joined Amundi Hong Kong on October 29 as director, investment. He reports to Ayaz Ebrahim, CIO Asian equities ex-Japan. Mr. Khoo is based in Hong Kong and part of the pan-Asia equity investment team. He will further strengthen the firm’s research and portfolio management capabilities with a specific focus on North Asia equities. Mr. Khoo brings over 17 years of research and portfolio management experience.
Before joining Amundi Hong Kong, Mr. Khoo was the CIO for Asia, at Sofaer Global Research, where he managed Asia Pacific, Asia ex-Japan and emerging markets funds. Prior to that, he occupied various positions, notably at HSBC James Capel, Credit Agricole Asset Management, Kerry Asset Management and Frontpoint Partners Asia. He started his career in the industry as a strategist, equity research, Hong Kong at Lehman Brothers (Asia) Ltd in 1995. He has written numerous articles published in leading magazines and journals in Asia and the US.
