Andrew Kwek is set to leave Deutsche Asset Management in Singapore, vacating the posts of chief executive and Asia head of sales for DWS, the firm’s retail business, on March 31.
Sources suggest the move is a result of firm’s decision to merge its asset management and wealth management arms to create Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM). Mr. Kwek’s current post is not expected to continue in its current form.
Deutsche refused to comment on the subject.
