Invesco Great Wall fund comes out on top in 2012

Invesco Great Wall’s Core Competence Equity fund topped its peers to be the best-performing Mainland equity fund in 2012 with growth of 31.79%, according to fund consultancy Morningstar.
Boosted by the A-share rally, a majority of the 519 Chinese equity funds reported positive returns, with average yield coming in at 6.76% last year. The Invesco Great Wall fund was the only fund to achieve a return of more than 30%. It was closely trailed by the Lombarda China Mid-cap and Small-Cap Stock fund, which recorded a return of 29.34%.
The Invesco Great Wall fund favours large-cap properties-related stocks and relies on fundamental approaches to stock selection.
