QFCA appoints Yousef Al-Jaida as chief strategic development officer

The Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFCA) has appointed Yousef Al-Jaida as chief strategic development officer with effect from February 10 this year. In his new role he will take responsibility for the overall strategic development of the QFCA. Mr. Al-Jaida joined the organisation in August 2010 as director, strategic development – asset management and banking.

Abdulrahman Ahmad Al-Shaibi, managing director of the QFCA and member of the QFCA board, said: “I am delighted that Yousef Al-Jaida has taken this new role. His experience and deep knowledge of the QFC Authority will be instrumental in in promoting our strategy and further raising our profile globally.”

Shashank Srivastava, CEO and board member of the QFCA, said: “Yousef Al-Jaida has successfully led the development of a central part of the QFC Authority’s strategy, building up our presence in asset management and banking. With Yousef now responsible for the overall strategic development of the QFC Authority, I am confident we will continue to make progress in serving Qatar’s financial sector and strengthening our position as a leading financial centre.”
