SCI former president Chen Wei Lun to join SinoPac SITC

Chen Wei Lun, former president of Taiwan’s Securities and Futures Institute (SCI), is reportedly set to join SinoPac Securities Investment Trust Corp (SinoPac SITC) as president, according to a report from Commercial Times.
Ho Shou-chuan, chairman of SinoPac Financial Holding, is currently at the helm of SinoPac SITC, but SinoPac SITC is looking for talents with securities and asset management background to head the company.
Mr. Chen held various management positions in SFI, Securities and Futures Bureau, and Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) over the previous 20 years.
SinoPac SITC is one of the top ten asset managers in Taiwan. The company has total AUM of around NT$85 billion (US$2.8 billion), translating into 4.33% market shares.
