State Street Global Services sign up Sng for Singapore

State Street Corporation is continuing to expand its business in Southeast Asia with the appointment of Kelvin Sng as client relationship manager for State Street’s Global Services business in Singapore.

Mr. Sng has 11 years of experience in the investment servicing industry. Prior to joining State Street, he held the position of vice president, sales and business development for HSBC Securities Services with responsibility for relationship management and sales, focusing on asset managers, insurance and private equity, and working with leading international and local fund managers. He also held operational roles at Schroder Investment Management (Singapore) Ltd and Bermuda Trust (Singapore) Limited.

In his new role Mr. Sng is responsible for building and enhancing State Street’s relationships with key clients, as well as educating clients and prospects on State Street’s full suite of capabilities.

Mr. Sng reports to Jacqueline Wong, head of client management for Southeast Asia. Ms. Wong said: “In addition to Kelvin’s experience in the investment servicing industry and his knowledge of regional collective investment schemes, he has a deep understanding of the asset management, insurance and private equity industries. As a result, he will be invaluable to our efforts to partner with clients and develop solutions for their challenges.”
