Bosera Asset Management (International) (Bosera International) announced on Thursday (March 14) that it has appointed Zhang Qiang (David Zhang) as deputy chief executive officer in Hong Kong.

Mr. Zhang will assume the responsibilities of the late Keith Li, the firm’s former chief executive officer who sadly passed away on March 11 due to unexpected health issues.

“Mr. Li has made enormous contributions to the establishment of the company, and helped to grow the retail and institutional business in the fast-moving market environment we now face. I look forward to working closely with the team for our clients around the world, and continuing to help lead Bosera International move forward.” Mr. Zhang said.

Mr. Zhang joined Bosera Asset Management, the parent group of Bosera International, in 2009 as deputy director and portfolio manager in the fixed-income department. In 2011, he took the role of portfolio manager at Bosera International.

Prior to joining Bosera, Mr. Zhang held various investment management positions across Deutsche Asset Management, Citi Alternative Investment and Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (PIMCO).
