Mercer poaches Adeline Tan from Towers Watson

Adeline Tan has joined Mercer Investments in Hong Kong as head of investment advisory. In this role, she will be responsible for advising clients on long-term investment strategy and portfolio construction to achieve their financial objectives and will report to Deborah Bannon, investments business leader, Greater China.
Ms. Tan brings more than a decade of experience as a trusted advisor to top tier clients in areas of risk and wealth management (including product development) and general strategy consulting. She joins from Towers Watson in London, where her most recent role was managing a team specialising in the provision of fiduciary services, working across different business functions to deliver structured solutions for clients that have moved towards delegating more of their investment processes.
Having joined Towers Watson in 2001, Ms. Tan held several investment-related roles with the firm, including a secondment to its Shanghai office, during which time she co-authored a paper on manager selection, which was published in major investment publications in China.
