Justin Burman takes up key position with BNP Paribas Securities Services

BNP Paribas Securities Services, a global custodian with over A$8 trillion (US$7.48 trillion) in assets under custody, has appointed Justin Burman as head of product – asset and fund services (AFS) in Australia.

Mr. Burman is responsible for market research and analysis, service offer development and management, product line management and sales support. He brings over 20 years of industry experience to the position, including senior roles within BNP Paribas, Colonial and ipac. In his time with BNP Paribas he has held the positions of product manager and head of registry services.

Daryl Crich, who was formerly head of product AFS, was appointed chief administration officer several months ago, holding both roles until a replacement was identified.

BNP Paribas Securities Services is the third largest provider in the local market in terms of assets under custody, totalling over A$305 billion in Australia as at December 31, 2013.
