Scott Keller to head up T. Rowe Price’s Asia distribution business

T. Rowe Price has named Scott Keller as its new head of global investment services (GIS), Asia Pacific, responsible for institutional and intermediary business development. He will join the company in July 2014 and will be based in Singapore.
Mr. Keller joins the firm from UBS where he was head of Pan Asia, accountable for building the institutional and intermediary business. He has been based in Asia for nearly ten years and has experience across the whole region. His career at UBS spanned 17 years working in Europe and Asia across both the wealth and asset management markets.
Robert Higginbotham, head of GIS, commented: “Scott’s appointment is a significant step in our international expansion and demonstrates our commitment to our clients in the Asia Pacific region, building upon our existing capabilities in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Sydney.

Mr. Keller will be replacing Flemming Madsen who has been head of GIS, Asia Pacific, for the last eight years. Mr. Madsen will transition to a new role as head of global financial intermediaries for GIS based in the US.
