Korea Post has selected local asset manager IGIS Asset Management for a 150 billion won (US$97 million) domestic multi-asset real estate fund mandate, some seven weeks after putting it up for tender.
The fund will allocate around 70% to listed real estate investment trusts and 30% to senior secured property loans, providing a blend of income generation and downside protection.
The government postal agency issued the request for proposal on May 15and announced the winning bidder on its website on June 26.
Headquartered in Seoul, IGIS Asset Management is South Korea’s largest real estate investment manager, with around 66.8 trillion won of assets under management as of June 2025. The assets span office, logistics, residential, retail and alternative real estate across Korea and overseas.
