Hong Kong investment firm Value Partners Group has listed three money market exchange-traded funds.
The Value Partners HKD Money Market ETF, Value Partners RMB Money Market ETF, and Value Partners USD Money Market ETF invest in a portfolio of money market instruments issued by governments, quasi-governments, and international organisations.
According to Value Partners, investors are increasingly looking to preserve capital, underscored by growing inflows into global money market funds whose assets hit US$7.3 trillion as of September.
The firm’s money market ETFs are designed to help investors manage cash with liquidity and efficiency, Value Partners says in a statement on October 16, when the funds were listed on the Hong Kong bourse.
“The ETFs allow investors to earn a competitive yield on their idle cash while maintaining a high degree of capital preservation and liquidity, meeting a critical need in today’s uncertain market climate,” says Gordon Ip, chief investment officer of Value Partners, which managed around $5.3 billion of assets as of June 2025.
