The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has appointed Kim-See Lim as chief investment officer for public sector and financial institutions and funds clients.
Lim joins AIIB from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she most recently served as regional director for East Asia and the Pacific.
In her new role, Lim will oversee financial institutions and fund clients globally and public sector clients in South East Asia and the Pacific Islands. She will work closely with the investment operations leadership team and management committee, AIIB says in a statement on July 9.
As a member of the bank’s executive committee, Lim will contribute to senior corporate decision-making, foster cross-bank collaboration and ensure alignment with strategic objectives, it adds.
Beijing-based AIIB is a multinational development bank with 106 member countries.
