BNP Paribas Real Estate, the property investment arm of French banking group BNP Paribas, has promoted Han Khim Siew and Mathieu Brummer to Asia Pacific co-heads.
The appointments are “part of BNP Paribas Real Estate’s latest growth plans in the region”, the company says in a statement on March 24.
Han was previously managing director of the firm’s Singapore office, and Brummer was formerly the deputy head for North Asia.
In their new roles, they report to Larry Young, head of the international investment group.
BNP Paribas Real Estate Asia Pacific was established in 2013 and has since successfully facilitated the flow of over 9 billion euros (US$10.62 billion) from Asian investors into the European and UK real estate markets across commercial, retail, logistics and hospitality assets, Young says in the statement.
BNP Paribas Real Estate has around 30.1 billion euros of total assets in 17 countries currently.
