Brunei Darussalam’s central bank has promoted Rashidah Sabtu to managing director and named her to the board of directors.
Rashidah, who was deputy managing director of Brunei Darussalam Central Bank’s regulatory and supervision division, succeeds Rokiah Badar, who retired on December 20, according to a posting on the bank’s official Facebook page.
Two other officials were also promoted.
Noorrafidah Sulaiman, who was assistant managing director of monetary operations, was named to fill Rashidah’s former role.
Mardini Eddie was promoted from assistant managing director of monetary operations into Noorafidah’s previous position.
