Responsible investment manager Regnan has launched its first fund for Asian investors in Singapore, about five months after introducing it in the UK.

The Regnan Global Equity Impact Solutions Fund aims to generate long-term outperformance by investing in mission-driven companies that create value for investors by providing solutions “for the growing unmet sustainability needs of the society and environment”, according to Tim Crockford, head of the Regnan Equity Impact Solutions team.

The fund uses the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals and their 169 underlying targets as an investment lens, Crockford says in a statement on February 24.

It’s available to only high-net-worth and institutional investors.

The fund was first launched in the UK in October last year.

Regnan and UK-based J.O. Hambro Capital Management are part of Australia’s Pendal Group, which had £55.1 billion (US$75.2 billion) of combined assets under management as of end-2020.
