Singapore insurer Aviva Singlife Holdings Pte has appointed Kim Rosenkilde as group chief investment officer.
Rosenkilde was previously chairman of the executive committee at China’s Shanghai CFETS-ICAP International Money Broking Co.
Aviva Singlife is the product of the merger last November of Aviva Singapore, a unit of UK insurer Aviva plc, and digital insurance company Singapore Life Pte.
Rosenkilde, whose appointment was effective April 8, was an adviser to Singapore Life on investment and risk management last year.
“His appointment to the new entity builds on this effort as he leads Aviva Singlife Holdings’ investment management activities and integrates the processes of Aviva Singapore and Singapore Life,” Aviva Singlife says in a statement on April 13.
Rosenkilde also becomes a member of Aviva Singlife’s executive committee.
He reports to Walter de Oude, the company’s deputy chairman and interim group chief executive officer.
