J.P. Morgan Asset Management has appointed Tomomi Shimada as lead sustainable investing strategist for Asia Pacific.
She was previously the sustainable investing strategist for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and will relocate from London to Hong Kong for the new role, the asset manager says in a statement on May 31.
She reports to Jennifer Wu, the global head of sustainable investing.
Shimada joined the US asset management firm in 2010 and has held a variety of investment stewardship and client adviser roles in London and Tokyo.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management had US$2.7 trillion of assets under management as of end-2020.
