UK asset manager Janus Henderson has listed a sustainable credit active exchange-traded fund called GOOD in Australia.

The fund focuses on debt securities that promote decarbonisation, social equality and social diversity.

It gives investors a way to manage the fixed income portion of their portfolios “with a sense of purpose”, Janus Henderson says in a statement on March 15, when the ETF was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.

The fund is jointly managed by Jay Sivapalan, head of Australian fixed income, and portfolio manager Shan Kwee.

“GOOD will invest in debt securities issued by companies with robust sustainable practices and the potential to enhance outcomes for society’s wellbeing and the protection of our planet,” Sivapalan says in the statement.

London-based Janus Henderson had US$274.6 billion of assets under management as of September 2022.
