French asset manager Amundi SA has hired Barry Glavin from US rival State Street Global Advisors as head of its equity investment platform.
Glavin has worked at the US firm since 2006, most recently as chief investment officer of its fundamental value equities team.
Amundi announced his appointment in a statement on April 3.
The company also appointed Vafa Ahmadi to oversee global thematic equity, expanding his role as head of thematic equities at CPR Asset Management, a unit of Amundi. Ahmadi has worked at the unit for more than 18 years.
Amundi had 2 trillion euros (US$2.15 trillion) of assets under management as of end-2023.
