Singapore financial technology firm Rakkar has secured a digital asset custodian licence in Thailand.

Rakkar, which made the announcement in a statement on January 7, says this will allow the firm to offer “secure and compliant digital asset custody services” to institutions such as exchanges, brokers and fund managers in Thailand.

The company, which has US$700 million of assets under custody, says it is preparing to start operations in Thailand.
