The new deputy treasurer at the Hong Kong Jockey Club is Chua Sue Wan. Mr. Chua, previously managing director and head of Asia investments at SEI Investments, succeeds Keith Yuen who left his post last year. Mr. Chua reports to Jacob Tsang, group treasurer at the HKJC.
Mr. Chua, who has about 14 years of experience in the industry, was instrumental in securing a multi-manager mandate from the HKJC for SEI. At the time of the appointment, the HKJC was believed to be the first large institution in Hong Kong to embrace the multi-manager approach. Mr. Chua has also worked for Rothschild Asset Management and the World Bank.
