Bank of Singapore, the US$114 billion private banking unit of Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation, has hired Yazid Mahadi from Brunei Darussalam’s BIBD Asset Management as head of funds selection.

Yazid announced the appointment on his LinkedIn account, saying that he was hired by Bank of Singapore this month.
He was previously managing director of BIBD Asset Management, the investment arm of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, having joined the firm in December 2018 from the parent bank, where he was senior manager of asset management strategy for close to two years.
Before that, he worked for more than seven years as an investment officer in Brunei Darussalam’s finance ministry.
