Chicago-based William Blair Investment Management has launched a US large-cap growth fund in Taiwan.
The William Blair U.S. Large Cap Growth SICAV uses a structured investment process to invest in 30-40 high conviction stocks, whittled down from more than 800 large-cap companies, the company says in a statement on January 13, when the fund began to be distributed in Taiwan.
The fund is managed by Jim Golan and David Ricci, partners and senior members of William Blair’s US large-cap growth team.
This is the company’s third SICAV, or Société d’Investissement à Capital Variable, fund in Taiwan. The other two are an emerging-markets debt hard currency fund launched last year and a US small-cap growth fund that was introduced in 2024.
William Blair managed around US$69 billion of assets as of September 2025.
