CFA Institute has hired Paul Moody, a veteran Aviva Investors executive, to a newly-created position as managing director, regions, marketing and societies.
He will oversee the institute’s regional staff, society relations’ teams, and its marketing and customer experience group.
The appointment is effective February 21 and he will report to President and Chief Executive Officer Margaret Franklin, CFA Institute says in a statement recently.
Moody, who will be based in London, worked for more than 20 years at Aviva Investors, most recently as client solutions director. He has also been the global products director, and global client investment director for environmental, social and governance.
According to Franklin, his “deep experience demonstrates that he is distinctively suited for this position”.
“Paul understands how to shape products that meet client needs and bring them to market,” she says in the statement.
CFA Institute, a global association of investment professionals, has more than 175 charterholders worldwide in over 160 markets.
