Malaysia’s Pelaburan Hartanah Negara (PHN), the real estate arm of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), the country’s largest asset manager, has appointed Roslina Rahman as chairperson.
Roslina, the former head of local asset management firm ValueCAP and French asset manager Amundi’s Malaysia office, has been a board member of PHN since 2023.
Her appointment as chairperson was effective in February, according to her LinkedIn profile updated on June 14. It’s not clear whom she replaced.
Spokespersons for PNB did not immediately respond to questions from Asia Asset Management.
Roslina left Amundi after ten years in 2018 to join ValueCAP as group chief executive officer.
ValueCap, which was equally owned by PNB, sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional Bhd and civil service pension fund Kumpulan Wang Persaraan, ceased operating in 2021 after 19 years when its board decided to exit the third-party asset management business.
