Hong Kong-based Rayliant Global Advisors has hired Kyle Theodore as senior director and head of consultant relations, a newly created role in which he will oversee the investment firm’s relationships with global peers.
“He will ensure the firm’s engagement continues to be built on collaboration and partnership with these sophisticated clients and on its ability to develop solutions customised to their specific needs,” Rayliant says in a statement on December 11.
Mr. Theodore previously worked at UK’s Insight Investment, where he co-led the US consultant relations team.
Prior to that, he was senior vice president at US bond manager Pacific Investment Management Company.
“Kyle’s experience in partnering with the world’s leading investment consultants and institutions to deliver long-term investor outcomes is a great fit for Rayliant’s research-driven approach,” Mike Bowers, Rayliant’s managing director and chief operating officer, says in the statement.
Established in 2016, Rayliant provides quant sub-advisory services and investment strategies to institutional investors that have more than US$27 billion of total assets.
