Swiss alternative investment manager Partners Group has set up its Middle Eastern headquarters in Abu Dhabi, 15 years after opening its first office in the region in Dubai.
The Abu Dhabi office will support the development of business with the six Gulf Cooperation Council nations, Partners Group says in a statement on June 17.
Suhail Albaz, the company’s chairman for Middle East, Africa and central Asia, was named as head of the new office.
“From our new regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi, we look forward to partnering with institutions to capitalise on the many opportunities arising from the upcoming technology-led transformation of industries,” says Steffen Meister, executive chairman of Partners Group.
Baar-based Partners Group has US$150 billion of assets under management and 22 offices worldwide, including the one in Abu Dhabi.
